Want To Keep Your Customers Coming Back
Posted by Janet Addison | Under Writing & Speaking Tuesday Feb 9, 2010In order to keep your online business successful, you have to find a marketing style that works right just for you. You need to find something that will always keep your consumers interested, keeping them wanting more.
One way which in which you can do that, is to update your website at least once a month. It would be nice if you could do it more often than that, but never less than once a month. With new information on your website (good info) then not only will the search engines like you, but the people will want to know that info as well.
Another way to update your content is writing Articles. However, if you’re not a fan of writing articles, the neat thing is that there are so many article directories out there that provide you with articles discussing almost every single niche out there. You can go to those directories, find an article and post it on your website for information.
However, you must be willing to link back to the author of the article; otherwise it is thought of as stealing content. Something that you should never ever do. No how tempting it is, you must always give credit to those who deserve it.
Basically, I just want you to know that you don’t have to write the articles yourself. Not if you’re using articles as a way to keep your website constantly updated, and article directories exist to help you with doing just that.
Also, if you are selling certain product, then you can post information about that product directly from the manufactures site as. After all, your customers need to know the exact details.
Another neat way to keep customers coming back to your site is to make it fun and entertaining for them. One way to entertain customers is by making some sort of contest and offering something worthwhile to the winner. I’ve seen websites such as ninjavideo.com provide contests that keep the contestants coming back for more.
Making customers feel achieved through your website is another way to keep them coming back. One way that you can do this is by offering a sale, or a discount of some sort. If they feel like they saved money through your service, then they will want to come back and see what else they can get.
If your website makes sales by telephone, on your website you can do a discount such as this:
“Mention sale “NICE” and get 15% off your next purchase. Don’t forget to mention the discount code though!”
It really can be as easy as this. If you already have traffic to your site, follow these steps and you will keep your readers, buyers, and visitors interested.
