So not only are you breaking the law by getting pirated videos, you are paying for it as well.
The big problem is, if you search for legal movie downloads, you may end up on a site which is just a scam. Any side which charges your monthly subscription and then gives you a database of torrents to download, is breaking the law. Regardless of how you pay for it, there is no way that you can download a movie on a peer to peer file sharing program legally.
Unfortunately, there isn’t a huge amount of choice when it comes to finding genuine and legal movie downloads online since the vast majority of sites that you will end up seeing in the search results are scams and should be avoided at all costs. Of course a walk in store only has a relatively small amount of movies on offer and is very likely that you won’t even be able to find what you want anyway, especially if you are looking for a movie which is lesser known or older.
One of the common problems when it comes to buying movies is that you can’t find the move you want, especially if you go into your high street store, where it is very unlikely that they will have older movies or ones that are less popular or less well known.
Hopefully, there will be more choice and competition out there in the foreseeable future but until the film company start doing something about the problem, many people are going to continue to turn to piracy.
